The third year of the 4.5-year MBBS program is the most relaxing, thanks to three relatively easy subjects and plenty of time to prepare for and enjoy. This year aside from Community Medicine, Preventive and Social Medicine (PSM), and Forensic Medicine, there are now two clinical subjects: ENT and Ophthalmology.           Community Medicine (PSM)

Because of its length and rote learning, community medicine, also known as preventive and social medicine (PSM), is one of the most dreaded subjects in the MBBS curriculum. It is necessary to read it several times in order to remember it well.
