I am glad to bring this book after prolonged effort of 3 years. I started writing this book during my final year of post-graduation while I was myself preparing for exams and was well versed with the problems faced while preparing for Community Medicine practical examination as we have to refer to so many books for practical examination. We have to read history taking from Medicine, pregnant and lactating case history from Obstetrics and refer book of Pediatrics for Under -5 cases in the family. At the same time finding out what is recent and can be asked in viva is challenging and tedious. Statistics is another edge of subject which is to be covered from different reference books. The study material is so vast and scattered, that despite availability of so many standard textbooks, students face difficulty while preparing for exam. Also, with the introduction of new CBME Curriculum, students are puzzled about how exactly the new examination pattern would be.
